Gillskär - Västra Torslanda 16km

Today started at 9am, heading south. As I reached Norde älvs fjord, the fog came from the south. I could barely see the other side of the fjord, to Torslanda. Halfway through, the wind started, coming from the south.

On average, I could hold 1 knot in that wind. That's just 1/3 of my regular speed. Warnings from the swedish weather forecasters, said heavy winds where to be expected in Skagerak and Kattegat this afternoon. It doesn't nessecarly mean Gothenburg, but Vinga had 12 m/s at 3pm. Not a good wind to cross the heavily trafficated way out of the Gotenburg dock.

Now I'm at west Torslanda, getting up bright and early tomorrow. A bit pissed about being a day late to my relatives in Varberg. As I was raising the tent, I left my food-bag unattended, leaving some birds to feast on my fast-boiling rice.
